A Busy Box for Busy Crayons
Found through the Carnival of Homeschooling: Busy Boxes on Our Journey Westward. These aren't preschool busy boxes (we did use those a couple of years ago!), but the same idea set up for a first grader who needs "something to do" while an older sibling finishes schoolwork. (And that's what we'll have in the fall.) I think Crayons (who celebrates a brand-new digit today) would enjoy these.

Happy Birthday, Crayons!
I am going to think about busy boxes for 6yo Cornflower. That definitely would have come in handy this year. She could even choose one to take to lessons-- when she has to sit and wait for her sisters to finish violin lessons, debate class, etc...
rayons grew another finger? I guess that's better than growing another foot.
