Sent via a homeschool list: the link to a Canadian bookselling company that will no longer ship to the U.S.
That's one way the CPSIA affects Canadian businesses: our American customers for "suspect" children's products have been eliminated.
And I assume the same would apply to E-bay sellers. I had been thinking of selling our 1965 set of My Book House (before Crayons strenuously objected), but now I wouldn't be able to ship it across the border.
Right?
P.S. I'm also envisioning a small army of elderly church-bazaar crafters converging on the White House, brandishing knitting needles and hot glue guns. Or check out these "chicks with sticks." (That blog is no longer current, I just liked the photos; click here for current Knitters = Angry Mob posts.)
