Can't brush the CPSIA away...but maybe we could drop a house on it

Mr. Fixit was looking for a record brush on E-bay. If you're too young to know what those are, they look a bit like chalkboard brushes...and don't tell me you're too young to know what those are. You run the record brush over your Hot Buttered Soul LP to get any dust off it before you play it on the turntable you also bought on E-bay.

Anyway, he found an E-bay seller offering brand-new record brushes. (Turntables are making a comeback.) In the description was something to this effect: "This is a record brush used for cleaning records. It's not a doll's hairbrush or something for children to play with. It has lead in it." And the lead counts were given at the bottom of the page.

Now you know you're not in Kansas anymore.
