So what did happen at the rally? (CPSIA)
I hadn't heard much about it since Wednesday--but here's one report.

We are a Canadian homesquirreling family. Dad, known as Mr. Fixit, has lined the nest with old copies of Popular Mechanics. Mama Squirrel enjoys reading, scrounging, and raising the squirrelings: The Apprentice, Ponytails, and Dollygirl (formerly called Crayons). And there's Uncle Dewey, who is made of polyester and imagination and has lived in our treehouse for years. Climb up, you're welcome!

Here is a video of Representative Joe Barton addressing the Rally

and here is an article about Chase Yentzer, 6 yr old dirtbike racer

The Wall Street Journal also had a piece today and a couple of (odd) letters to the editor about the CPSIA.
For the most part, we listened to and cheered for different people who spoke, members of congress, small businesses, atv/dirtbike folks, bicycle charity, a business that makes products for the handicapped, etc. Rick Woldenberg was the MC for the event. His blog is here http://learningresourcesinc.blogspot.com/
Some of the other speakers have posted things on their blogs.
In the afternoon, those who were able went on congressional visits. Lots of them twittered

but you will have to go back several pages to get to April 1. There are also a lot of links in those "tweets"
That should be enough to get people on the CPSIA trail. Our children enjoyed being part of the process.
