WorksheetWorks.com provides a manuscript/cursive handwriting practice page generator--you type in the text and it comes out as a practice page.
There are other sites online that offer similar worksheets, but I just came across this one (via an old post on Fish Fell Academy), and I'd like to try it out.

Thanks for sharing this. I am starting to plan a bit for next year as we will start in August, and copywork "at the ready" would be fantastic !!

I've been trying to decide whether to go with the standard manuscript/cursive handwriting or do italic, and the availability of free worksheets for the manuscript and cursive almost decided me in favor of that. But not only do I like italic much better, so does D1. Since we'll only be practicing strokes and individual letters this year, anyway, I think I'm going to forge ahead with italics and hope there's more resources available next year. That or I'll have to spring for Start Write.
