Decorate a candle jar

I don't know why I like this idea so much (seen on Dollar Store Crafts). It's not like there's anything so original about pasting things on a jar or even a candle holder. One of the first crafts I ever remember doing in a group, about forty years ago, was pasting bits of tissue paper all over jars and pop bottles. Very groovy, and very fun even for a preschooler.

So maybe that's the appeal of these candle jars--a grown-up version of the same thing, but with enough flexibility that kids could make them as well. Good for small gifts.
