Haha. Yesterday, the checker at the Walmart grilled my 12yo (in a friendly way) about homeschooling while she was bagging our groceries-- she was astonished that the kids can't just get up whenever they want. Mariel stood there and said, "Yeah, we have alarm clocks and everything..."
By 'get up', I meant wake up in the morning...
Maybe not instead of math, but we're planning for some major tree climbing in the Spring!
