Although we haven't been finding such astounding meat deals lately as we did last month, we did pick up some boneless chicken thighs on Saturday so that I could finally try Donna-Marie Pye's Sweet Butter Chicken recipe. (Mentioned previously.) Planning to go with it: basmati rice, thawed pita bread (on sale), cut into wedges, carrot sticks. Our current batch of lentil sprouts are about a day or so away from being big enough to eat, otherwise I'd use them too.
UPDATE--after all that, how did it turn out? Generally, everybody liked it, and the package of thighs turned out to be one of the less-greasy variety (that's good). But for the amount of ingredients and work that it took, I think I prefer our Thai-style curried chicken recipe. With a whole can of evaporated milk combined with tomato paste, this chicken tasted (to me) somewhat as if I had dumped a can of tomato soup into it and added curry spices. Would I make it again? Not sure. But it was interesting.
