Two dollars' worth of Lucy

A dollar-store find (our dollar store charges two dollars for some things): a 2-disc set of episodes from "The Lucy Show." The plots are predictable (Lucy goofs up but somehow saves the day) and the '60's colour is a little glaring (including Lucy's hair), but they're fun anyway. The episodes we have include several with celebrities of the time: Paul Winchell (also known as the original voice of Tigger), Phil Silvers, and George Burns. You can see quite of a few of the same episodes on You-tube, including the one linked above with Carol Burnett as Lucy's very strange new apartment-mate. Also check out "Viv comes to visit," where Lucy and her old friend Vivian dress up like hippies (I think they're more like beatniks) to look for a young friend.
