I said no, I homeschool and I use a lot of "homemade" resources. But I also share any overflow with others, mostly at our local support group--otherwise I wouldn't be able to walk across the floor in here. This trip, as I said, I didn't pick up anything we already had, but I often will buy paperback classics we own (if they're cheap enough) and then pass them on as well (for minimal price or free). I had a lot of people help me out the same way when I was starting homeschooling.Mama Squirrelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06941211100125966917noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10926562.post-87790419108300406492007-07-28T06:57:00.000-05:002007-07-28T06:57:00.000-05:00You made quite a haul! You made quite a haul!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10926562.post-90580684972256493622007-07-23T15:32:00.000-05:002007-07-23T15:32:00.000-05:00Love the thrift shop!Love the thrift shop!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10797876049874806102noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10926562.post-70521240498700111492007-07-22T20:44:00.000-05:002007-07-22T20:44:00.000-05:00We read Family Under the Bridge several years ago ...We read Family Under the Bridge several years ago and enjoyed it. I did it as a read aloud and we talked through the issues that came up in the book...homelessness, charity, social workers, etc. I felt it was a great discussion book. Just my 2 cents!Purring Piggyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03535588435856907882noreply@blogger.com
