Orange butterflies and purple hymnals

Around 1973, I was in elementary school. I was also a member of our church's junior choir. The Roman Catholics were in the era of their folk/guitar mass, and over at the United Church, we kids were also singing Medical Mission Sisters songs and spirituals.Very ecumenical.

Our most-used music book was this one:

It took me awhile to find the title Folk Encounter online; all I could remember of the cover was "purple."
