"Greg McKeown, in his book Essentialism, says it this way: 'No one can
take away your right to choose. You can’t even give it away if you
want. You can only forget that you have the power to decide.'” (Quoted by Joshua Becker in Simplify Magazine #7, December 2018)

My goodness, we were just discussing that truth, that we do not have the option of not choosing, in our high school class at church today. It was prompted by the chapter of The Great Divorce about "The Hard-Bitten Ghost," who didn't like Heaven, didn't like Hell, thought all the Powers-That-Be were in the same league, and he didn't want any part of any of it.
And this tied in with the choice of gratefully receiving our life from God, which if we have somehow inculcated in our children a disposition to do, we have educated them! (Based on your other post I just read :-) )
