For those of you who follow the Ambleside Online curriculum and happenings: do you realize that it's been a year already since the AO Forum went live? I'm honestly trying to figure out where that year went.
But there's been more happening at AO, and I wanted to give a heads-up to those who haven't checked out the website lately. First, Year 12 is finally posted and official. Then there are more and more "new" Parents' Review articles being typed and added all the time, mostly from Volume 2--that is, not Charlotte Mason's "Volume 2," but Volume 2 of the magazine, from 1891-1892.
Finally, there are some new Plutarch studies: Cicero, Demosthenes, and Coriolanus. Maybe more to come there too.
Fresco: Vincenzo Foppa's Young Cicero Reading. c.1464, found in this very helpful article about Cicero and Archimedes' tomb at Three Pipe Problem.
