2. What's your favorite 'All-American' dessert?
Chocolate-chip cookies.
(You did say American, not Canadian.)
3. Does that patriotic feeling come easily to you, or are you having to work for it more these days? What's something that makes you proud to be a citizen of your country?
Some of our great artists.
4. Your favorite 'patriotic' movie? Favorite patriotic song?
Not sure. OK, how about the 1985 Anne of Green Gables miniseries?
5. One simple pleasure on your July 'bucket list'?
Potluck dinner with church friends. And fresh cherry tomatoes to make a pasta salad.
6. Insert your own random thought here.
Fun finds from thrift stores and antique markets. The Japanese (Morimura) sugar bowl was found over two years ago at a local thrift store, and I just found this little vase to keep it company.

When I answered about patriotic movies, I only thought of American ones, but now that you mention it, I do think Anne of Green Gables qualifies as a patriotic Canadian movie. Hope you're having a great week!
Fun finds. I enjoy thrift and antique shopping. That salad looks delicious. Happy July to you!
Well I love Anne of Green Gables so yes, it counts! Somehow after all these years of Hodgepodging I think this is the first time I've learned you're Canadian : ) Have a great weekend.
We are in Canada right now and it was kind of odd not having fireworks on the 4th but also nice and quiet..hhaha.
