Baby Afghan

I crocheted this for friends at church who have a new baby girl.  It's on the small side, about 25 inches across, but I was thinking more of car seat covers, strollers, and little blankies than full-sized bed coverings.

The stitch is a really simple one, just alternating double and single crochets, but the variegated yarn seems to create its own pattern.

Yarn: Red Heart Super Saver (mostly.  I think the dark brown might have been another brand--I bought that awhile ago).
Pattern: Just a big granny square
